Responsibilities
As a Senior HR & Admin Officer, your main duties will include:
- Acting as a liaison between the business and employees, ensuring clear two-way communication and providing effective HR solutions.
- Offering professional HR support and advice to Line Managers and employees on various HR issues.
- Coordinating performance appraisals and supporting Performance Management activities to ensure business objectives are met.
- Developing and implementing Performance Improvement Plans to boost employee productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and coaching managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with the Country Government Relations team on visa-related matters.
- Managing HR processes, such as disciplinary actions, grievances, and pay queries.
- Analyzing HR data (e.g., sickness, absence, attrition) and recommending proactive HR solutions.
- Leading recruitment and employee training programs to help the team meet its goals.
- Preparing monthly HR reports and attending regular meetings with managers to review HR activities and challenges.
- Ensuring all paperwork and procedures comply with country laws and regulations.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a senior position.
- Fluency in English and a strong command of communication skills.
- A solid understanding of industry best practices in HR.
