Job Introduction
As the Section In-charge, you will be responsible for managing every aspect of our food department. You’ll lead a team, develop strategies to hit sales targets, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional service
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet department targets and maximize revenue
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure stock rotation to maintain product freshness
- Manage pricing, promotions, and product displays to drive sales
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling standards to guarantee product quality
- Train staff on product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming department
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Section In-charge or in a similar supervisory role in a retail food environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of deli, butchery, chilled, and frozen food products
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in inventory management and basic computer skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
