We are urgently seeking an experienced and talented Electrical Draftsman to join our team in Manama. If you have a strong background in electrical drafting and are looking for an exciting opportunity, this role is for you!
Job Introduction
As an Electrical Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and layouts for various electrical systems. You will work closely with engineers and consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. If you’re an expert in AutoCAD and have experience in electrical design, we’d love to have you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings based on project specifications, including lighting, power, fire alarm, UPS, and ELV systems.
- Study IFC drawings and project details to create accurate drafts for consultant approval.
- Design cable trays, calculate voltage drops, and determine appropriate cable sizes.
- Create detailed elevation, section, and installation drawings for electrical services.
- Prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals after project completion.
- Assist engineers in checking and revising technical documentation and Bill of Materials.
- Ensure all shop drawings are approved in coordination with engineers and managers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical drafting, with expertise in residential, commercial, industrial, and hotel projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D MAX software.
- Ability to create accurate and clear plans based on specifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and layout.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
