We are urgently looking for a reliable and organized Assistant Storekeeper to join our team! If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy managing stock, and are ready to contribute to a growing company, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Storekeeper, you will:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming stock and materials.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and accessible inventory system.
- Perform regular inventory checks, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure materials are available for workers and customers when needed.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder items as necessary.
- Safeguard inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Train and supervise assistant storekeepers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper storage practices.
- Order and restock materials as required and assist with vehicle operation for deliveries.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Ability to handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic inventory counting and reporting.
- Must pass a pre-employment skills test (written & hands-on).
- Preferably male candidates for this position.
