Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily data and ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
- Track expenses and ensure proper documentation of every financial transaction.
- Accurately record financial transactions such as deposits, collections, and remittances in the ERP system.
- Perform month-end tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger adjustments.
- Analyze financial discrepancies and provide actionable solutions.
- Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
- Collaborate with the finance team to meet deadlines for accounting tasks.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze revenue, and report budget variances to management.
- Assist with budget preparation and managing expenses for assigned accounts.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Prepare VAT filing documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Follow company policies and regulations to monitor and record financial transactions.
- Suggest improvements to existing accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with banks, clients, and suppliers as needed for financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to drive outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage and prioritize assignments efficiently and professionally.
- Strong knowledge of generating financial reports and analysis.
