Maintenance Planning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. If you have a strong background in power plants, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries and possess excellent technical and planning skills, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules for power plants, petrochemical, or oil & gas plants.
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks based on priorities, system demands, and resource availability.
  • Work closely with contractors to ensure timely execution of jobs.
  • Manage service contracts, purchase orders, and materials efficiently.
  • Analyze data, evaluate results, and provide recommendations to solve problems.
  • Create and maintain technical reports, schedules, and outage plans.
  • Ensure all safety and operational standards are met on-site.
  • Utilize SAP software for planning and reporting.
  • Conduct site visits independently to assess maintenance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in plant maintenance and planning (power plants, petrochemical, oil & gas, or RO plants).
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Diploma or B.E).
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance strategies and scheduling.
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site.
  • Physically fit, with no vertigo, color blindness, or fear of confined spaces or heights.
