Introduction to the Job
We are looking for an experienced QC Inspector to join our team for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities
As a QC Inspector, your main duties will include:
- Preparing and reviewing Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Material Specification Test (MST), Material Approval Requests (MAR), and the Quality Control Plan.
- Ensuring compliance with ASTM, ISO, and BN standards relevant to the fabrication industry.
- Reviewing and understanding project specifications and drawings before starting any work.
- Performing dimensional, welding, and coating inspections to ensure all work meets required standards.
- Collaborating with team members to identify and resolve any quality control issues that arise during the project.
- Preparing reports and documentation related to quality control findings.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the fabrication industry.
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, ISO, and BN standards.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing ITPs, MSTs, and Quality Control Plans.
- A valid driving license and access to a car.
- Familiarity with dimensional, welding, and coating inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
