Junior Planning Engineer in Bahrain

Job Responsibilities

As a Junior Planning Engineer, your key duties will include:

  • Creating detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
  • Preparing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) based on construction drawings.
  • Setting work programs and milestones for each phase of the project.
  • Monitoring site progress, updating schedules, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Preparing progress reports, identifying potential risks, and developing recovery plans.
  • Analyzing project data to track trends and spot issues early.
  • Assisting in resource allocation to optimize project timelines and costs.
  • Identifying critical path activities, float times, and deviations from baseline schedules.
  • Conducting sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of project changes.
  • Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to budget limits.

Qualifications You’ll Need

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in project planning or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
